About Ruth.

Hello everyone!

I am Ruth and I love to help people feel good about themselves. I like to think that every person I meet I give them a reason to smile. My passions are being creative whether that be blogging about retro fashion, the history of current fashion, impromptu street fashion interviews(I love finding out why people wear what they do!), or D.I.Y projects.  I find that blogging is very fun and cathartic. I love how supportive people were when I decided to be a fashion blogger. My goal is to inspire people to do what they love and follow their hearts and dream BIG!  As someone once said to me, dream Big, start small.  I’m not sure where this journey will take me, as long as I get to share my journey with you.  I love sharing my passions with others who are following their dreams and hearts, or those who need a pick me up! All my best,

Keep updated with what I’m doing on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.  Also, you can follow me on BlogLovin‘ where you can keep updated on my current fashion feed!

Things about me:

I met my husband Greg, when I was just 19 years old. We were married on the Big Island of Hawaii on the Kona Coast 6 years later.

We have a beautiful, smart, and creative 9 year old daughter, Lily.

I have a B.S. in Psychology  from Pacific Lutheran University.

I have successfully run a Baby Sign Language business called My Smart Hands Tacoma for 6 years.

I love coffee, pizza and sushi, not necessarily in that order. 🙂

I am a self taught social media guru; my media of choice is Instagram and Twitter.

I’m scared of snakes but love all other animals.  I had a pet “Raymond” the rabbit who lived to be almost 11 years old.  I currently have a cute but spoiled guinea pig named Sheila.
